Giro Giro Tondo. Design for children
Kartell and Triennale continue their partnership in promoting the design culture. On the occasion of the tenth edition of the Triennale Design Museum, Kartell has created a special version of one of its icons: an extra-large Attila by Philippe Starck, measuring a 180 cm tall. And so we have “GigaAttila”, who will welcome visitors to Giro Giro Tondo. Design for Children.
The new Museum will also be home to a few of historic pieces from Kartell Museo (a talking duck-shaped potty, a Sistema Scuola chair and bench, and an apple grater) as well as more recent items from the Kartell Kids line, like the H-Horse rocking horse and the Smile stools designed by Nendo.
“Kartell’s ties with the design world for children began years ago,” explains Marketing and Retail Director Lorenza Luti. “That’s why we’re especiallly pleased to participate in this edition of the Triennale Design Museum with a special tribute that represents innovation perfectly but also the more fun, more playful side of our brand.”
